As women, we can under-appreciate and abuse ourselves by either putting ourselves down or not looking after our minds, bodies, and souls. Self-confidence is essential to your self-discovery and self-development; finding yourself can be refreshing and powerful and help you accept who you are and what matters to you.
The Journal of Counselling Psychology published an article in 2008, which explains the essence of well-being and healthy functioning. It is about feeling confident in who we are and being at ease with ourselves.
When we pursue a goal, setting ourselves out on a journey, you can guarantee there will be storms to weather. However, when this happens, we often blame the pitfall, but could it have been the way we perceive ourselves?
